How to remove Personal Defender 2009 (Personal Defender 2009 Removal)

Personal Defender 2009 is a rogue anti-spyware program that uses Trojans and fake advertising to convince you to install their software. This rogue is promoted via a Trojan that has a filename of mupd1_2_1711951.exe and when installed on your computer will display a fake Windows Firewall Security Alert on your computer.

This alerts pretends to be a Windows Firewall alert stating that the Trojan-Keylogger.WIN32.Fung is running on your computer and if you would like to enable protection. If you click on the Enable Protection button you will be brought to a page stating that you should download and install Personal Defender 2009 in order to protect yourself. These alerts, though, are fake and are only being shown to scare you into thinking you are infected. If you just deleted the mupd1_2_1711951.exe file, the alerts would no longer appear.
